各位安安呀!
我目前人在澳洲念研究所,计画在毕业后申请美国的Internship Training Program的J-1 Visa,但由于身边都没有有经验的朋友,不知道在此论坛有人了解这个Program的流程跟实习成果??

J1 Student Visa

J1 student visas are for people who want to participate in an exchange visitor program, (commonly known as an internship program) in the US. The J1 visa is intended for students needing practical training that is not available in their home country to complete their academic program. The training must be directly related to the academic program. The J1 visa obligates the student to return to their home country for a minimum of two years after the end of their studies in the US before being eligible to apply for an immigrant (permanent residence) visa.

However, most non-U.S. citizens who wish to study in the United States will seek an F-1 student visa. This visa is the most common for those who wish to engage in academic studies in the United States and is intended for people who want to study at an accredited US college or university.

I appreciate for your kindness. It was nice to know more details about J-1 visa. However, I read from IEE website which shows that a recent graduate is also able to apply it in 12 months. I actually dont wanna immigrate to America, but I hope to experience their workplace for short-term training. Therefore, I am quite interested in this program. Do you know how to apply for the program efficiently? Is it difficult to get the visa?
